  • Washed Polished & Waxed My Car

Gold Class Car Shampoo; 2 bucket method with microfiber sponge. Dried car with Waffle Weave towels. Clay bar. DA Power System applied Ultimate Polish followed by Gold Class Carnauba Plus Wax. Removed the polish & wax with a bunch of Supreme Shine towels.
My car is not a daily driver it is for cruise nights and the occasional good old fashioned joyride.
I gave it its annual bath last week and after I got done and pulled it out in the sun I was grinning from ear to ear.
When I go to car shows I look for the sunniest spot away from all the trees. That tells the judges I've got nothing to hide and they do take notice of that.
I went to a Top 50 show Sunday; there was close to 200 vehicles in attendance. I drove home with a trophy.
Here's a pic someone took of my car at the show.

Nice work! That's how black should look!

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Thanks gang. It even amazes me how nice it looks. I was walking back to my car after the awards and it looks so good I was thinking to myself "Holy **** THIS IS MY CAR!
Thanks to Meguiars products my car's 15+ yr old paint is a liquid reflective black hole. Single stage with no clear coat!
The DA Power System is what has gotten my car to an incredibly high level of finish. Before I got it I had never used a buffer I was doing everything by hand. Before I used it I must have watched the how to video at least a hundred times and read the topic discussions just as much. And after I used it that first time when I was done wiping off the dried wax and pulled it out in the driveway my mouth literally dropped. I was blown away.

Beautiful car and GC wax work! Not wild about the confederate tag, though.

Thanks. The only reason that plate's on my TA is because that's what was on the car in Smokey & The Bandit. When I got to the show I asked the guys putting it on if I should display it or not and they insisted I do; saying I would lose points for it not being completely accurate to the movie. I do not drive around with it on the car. I also have the BAN ONE rear plate I put on the car at the shows. I am not a racist. I have good friends in my Firebird club who are colored and they know the rebel flag plate on the car represented nothing more than thumbing your nose at bumbling cops. Just like my friend's General Lee.

Oh, I grew up lusting after both of these cars real bad, believe me I didn't mean to cast aspersion on you personally. I think the Coors case is also about right, probably grabbed during the forklift scene? Probably my fav moments though are when Sally's hair is flying around in the t-tops

Yeah everybody smiles when they see the Coors case in the car. and my friend John has a box with 4 jugs of moonshine in it
I never thought of it before but my wife looks a lot like Sally Field I wonder if that's what attracted me to her?
My buddy John & I went to a cruise night yesterday it was Best 70s night. My Bandit got the award and John's general Lee got the sponsor's Best Cruiser award
