This is a 2007 Black Mercedes that I did some time back at the first of the year for a Paint Correction and a 2 year paint coating applied as well as removing the rims and thoroughly cleaning and coating face & barrels. Already washed, dried, clayed, tapped, covered and ready for a 2-step of the Meguiars Twins.

Condition of the paint and what I'm working with.

And a close up.

Machines, pads and products used for this Paint Correction Process.

Before

After

This is the left front fender, the scratches which can be felt by finger nail are very deep and all I'm going to do is approve upon so not as noticeable.

This is after 4 applications of M105 & 2 applications of the M205, being very careful not to apply to much pressure and speed more or less just going over very lightly. This isn't perfect but it is safe to say this is going to have to be good enough without removing to much clear.

Stopped to take this shot here because it show's a great before and after picture of just how severe the swirls and scratches are. I'm working from the back forward and as can be seen here I just got finished with the drivers door and lower fender area under the vents, still need to go over area around vents by hand & 3'' DA to remove more scratches.

These next 2 pic's are after the 1st step in polishing and as you can see, it is producing an amazing finish, Using a 3401 Flex DA, Meguiars M105 and Meguiars micro fiber cutting disk along with a step down with Cobra's polish foam pad going back over with the M105, This is a great combo of products and machine on this paint.

Removed from car, inspected and removing some severe bonded contaminants to get ready for washing.

After I washed and thoroughly scrubbed and cleaned.

Even after the thorough scrubbing and cleaning with Meguiars D143 non acid wheel cleaner this is what I removed from the barrel of the rim using my old used up C2000 mild clay that I save instead of throwing away when to dirty to use back on paint.

Polishing with a pre coating prep to go one step further to insure that the coating will have a good cleaned surface to bond to and protect the way it was designed too.

Finished and 2 coats of coating were applied, it even gave the barrel of the rim some crazy gloss!

Wheel well's were also thoroughly scrubbed, cleaned and dressed.

Outside of rim was treated to the same procedure.

Finished with all polishing, chemically stripping and paint coating.

Thanks for looking!
