  • 1968 Pontiac GTO

A client of mine called me and said he just purchased this 1968 Pontiac GTO with 74,000 original miles and he wanted it detailed to see if he needed to do a new paint job. Well it turned out that the GTO needs a complete paint job.

    Exterior:

Foam Wash with CG Mr. Pink w/ Foam Cannon
    APC + on the wheels
Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax D156 on the Paint, glass, and wheels
    Hyper Dressing on the tires

    Interior:

Basic Wipe down. No dressing applied.
    Vacuum
    Inside Glass D120

It looks pretty terrific here - what are we not seeing that tells you it needs a full paint job?

There are bubbles in the actual paint all over the place. It looks like someone painted it in a back yard. But the current owner knew of this before he purchased it and was planning on getting it repainted. The interior on the other hand is in MINT condition and it's all original.

My first car was a 68 Goat. This brings back a lot of memories
