First off, nice work on a very trashed black paint job. So the new "Black and White" was is really more of an AIO type product? I ask because I was unaware of its ability to do any correction. Thanks

That's correct. Black Wax and White Wax are AIO's.

You can find more detailed information in the 2013 New Products section.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

These have polishing oils and some SMAT in them.

im not sure what that rainbow is.. ive never seen it, but i think i would of given this car the old paint treatment before doing any of that polishing. good job just the same though.

                I did.
                Wool pad and compound.
Doesn't get any older then that.
Then I polished out the buffer marks and applied wax at the same time.

oooooooo, okay. But that wouldn't have done anything. It was oxidized beyond waxing. It needed paint removal and polish.
I didn't just jump into a wool pad. I always do test spots and let the paint tell me what to do. It was confusing so I called my mentor and we diagnosed it.

I did a black 70 roadrunner that was repainted several times and I had this cloudy rainbow effect that I couldn't polish out, looked like it was on the paint. Drove me crazy, just did my best. Came out nice, but I wasn't happy. Not a fan of doin details on a repaint. You need a good paint gauge and most of the time the time and work ain't worth what your getting paid .

^^^ Well nice to see someone else has seen this rainbow effect. I got it out. It took 13 hrs, but it came out. And I got paid well. For doing this job for a fellow soldier.

Nice job!!! That rainbow effect on the fender is so strange, I have seen it on black gelcoat but not on paint before, On the gelcoat the sun and heat on
the gelcoat was pulling some of the oils to the top causing a rainbow effect .

How much protection life are you expecting from the Black Wax before having to recoat ?

You can compare Black Wax to Gold Class Carnauba Wax for longevity. So 4-6 washes.
Right now the car is under a cover and my customer went back to his base in Co. so it should last awhile, lol
