Presented with an ES300 which had been graffiti'd, swirl'd and scratched all over by possums. The car is also next to a coal mine daily, and travels around 250km to get there and back ever day on the freeway. So needless to say it was a mess.
We were given 24 hours to fix this up.
The client wanted us to pick up 3pm Friday afternoon and hand back by 3pm Saturday afternoon. I discussed this crazy time frame with him and he said "just get it done".
So, here's our process:
1. Abrasive wash
2. Medium grit clay bar with Mother's Showtime and Meguiars Gold Class car wash as lube.
3. Secondary wash with Meguiar's Gold Class
4. Complete dry, moved to dry area for further inspection and corrective prep.
Here's a couple of pics. You can see the clay holding the coal deposits, and I can't say anything that's not four-letters about the other pics.

5. 1800 grit wetsand on tricky/marred areas and nasty scratches.
6. Enter Rotary + M105 + wool pad. Took around 4-6 passes per panel to work the paint correctly, being ultra careful of the heating of the paint comparative to the cut action of the rotary and how much we could actually get down.
7. Rotary + SwirlX + soft foam pad. This step was to ensure complete removal buffer trails and holograms.
8. Washed down.
9. Waxed with Meguiar's DCW, set for 45 minutes to dry properly on 'swipe test'.
And here are just a couple of pics of our results. Hope you like them! In total, I got 2 hours sleep (2am to 4am), and we managed to get this client's car back at 2:45pm Saturday looking like this.
