Great process and great result. Really nice color.

    Good work!

What did you use on the tires? Very understated shine. Nice.
Thank you. I used Black Magic on the tires, and after it sat a while, I wiped them down with a clean dry rag. I don't like a wet look, and wiping them a second time, keeps it from slinging up the doors.

Thank you. The pictures really don't do it justice, it doesn't photograph well in the garage, and it's raining out, so I couldn't get em outside.

    New Vette

This past Jan, I traded in my 2008 Corvette, for a 2011 Camaro SS. After driving the brick with wheels for 5 months, I couldn't take it anymore, and bought a new 2011 Corvette. The paint on the Vette was rough, don't think it was ever washed on the lot, which aint a bad thing I suppose, no dealer induced scratches or swirls. But there was some etching, and that needed to be removed, so it was time to go to work. I clayed the car, and followed up with Ultimate Compound on my LC tangerine pad. That got the etching out, and back to a smooth finish, so I changed to the Ultimate Polish, again using my tangerine pad. After polishing, I tried the Ultimate Wax, using my crimson pad, pretty happy with the results. This new Supersonic Blue is a strange color, looks blue one minute, dark gray another, and sometimes even has a purple look.
