Interesting that so many are skipping the D301. I always apply the D301 because the D300 always leaves a hazy finish, which the D301 is designed to polish out. With that said, the D301 doesn't even take that much time. It takes me about 10-15 minutes to apply and another 5 minutes to remove. That step is worth it, imo.

I just did my first DA/MF system on Sunday. I might not have applied enough pressure, but after D300 and a wipeoff, the surface had no haze to it at all. I applied the D301 anyway to complete the 'system' but honestly, i didn't notice much of a change after the D301 (other than it having wax on it now, obviously).

How have you guys been cleaning off your MF pads? Just toss in the washing machine with other MF stuff (towels, wash mit, etc.) and then dry on low heat?

I have only cleaned my pads once so far and I just used warm water and a little Dawn dish soap and a pad cleaning brush to clean mine and let air dry. I have not tried them in the washing machine yet.

I just got mine out of the dryer (low heat) after a small cold wash cycle. They seem to be in pretty good condition. They are still stained with the product and not their original white, which should be okay since I'll only be using D300/301 on them. I might try the dish soap method next time to compare.
