Malaysia is known for its tropical climate - plenty of heat & plenty of rain & plenty of acid rain = TA DA -------most severe acid rain
in the world

how to keep the white car white it is too much a challenge to keep our ride clean & looking cool....not easy & quite hard to achieve it...ended up....we let other help us to do it.... for we know the best that we can ever do for our car is to take ownership of it......

my buddy actually calls ask me to help him to preps & protect this new investment


great looking ! clean ! detail??? especially under bright sun light - nothing will hide - so much so if you are trying to find swirls on a white car under the sun will eventually blind your sight...for those of you had -
i remember i did an E60 white & shot some pic under the sun, just before i sleep my eyes blink blink - comes watery - too much sun light entered into my retina - be careful !!! use proper shade or old negative to cut the glare of your camera view finder & proper sun glasses

I have never seen anything in this velocity - only managed to be picked up by extreme close up (with the help of prime lenses)

5 hours just gone & for the next 20 hours (over the spans on 2 days) - major paint correction work being carried with great care & meticulously detail before opti coating it for good

it was too much a correction to be done till - i had no time to snap any after pics

i had to rush to return my ride to my buddy & it is already 1200 midnight of the 2nd day

You can make a different ....... there is a real story

one day that there is a man who like to stroll on the beach prior going to work & he saw a young man like dancing, as he approach he saw this little young boy, throwing back the star fish into the sea - he ask there are miles & mile of star fish on the shores - its foolish of you to waste your time pick them up - you cant saves them all...this young man came back & pick up & throw another start fish into the sea & replied "for that star fish - i make a different"

it is always impossible to reach the world - even all the car owners in our country - but for this - i make the different

Environmental damage to paint comes in a varied range of threats; acid rain, road salt, tree sap, hydrazine an extremely active acid that is found in jet fuel, industrial fallout, ultra violet radiation (UV-A and B) and other airborne contaminants are very detrimental to a vehicles paint film surface.

They are all forms of environmental contamination and given the right catalyst; reactivity (heat) plus moisture, they will become acidic. During this process the metal absorbs oxygen from the water and forms iron oxide (rust). Given the porosity of paint they permeate the paint matrix down to body metal.

Although present on all paint surfaces, sintered brake / rail dust is most noticeable on light coloured paint surfaces, especially white. These contaminants are invisible to the naked eye, once they start to oxidise, and turn orange; this is when the problem will be brought to your attention, even on brand new vehicles.

Stages of Corrosive Paint Damage

Stage One- Iron particulates causing surface staining leading to substrate corrosion

Stage Two - Contaminants have permeated the paint matrix causing discoloration and corrosion damage

Stage Three - Particulates and corrosive compounds causing severe damage to the paints resin (binder) system

Signs of Paint Surface Contamination
• Dark coloured specks
• Brown or Orange (rust) coloured stains or specks
• Yellow stains
• Small metal coloured flecks
• Rough texture
• ‘Water spots’ or marks
• Surface etching
• Oxidation
• Paint ‘stains

In this case, paint care not only serves aesthetics, but also helps preserve the vehicle and its resale value

Paint Surface Cleaning
Vehicle manufacturer studies have shown that failure to remove environmental contaminants, like imbedded rail dust, acid rain, industrial fallout and other environmental contaminants from paint film can cause premature degradation of the paint system.

Schedule: annually, dependent upon environmental conditions and vehicle exposure but more often on light coloured paint. To optimize the reflective properties and appearance of the paint surface, it is best to regularly remove both imbedded and surface contaminants and dirt.

There are three distinct type; Abrasive, Chemical (solvent) and Chemical (neutralised acid)
• Detailer’s clay is an abrasive the removes surface contaminants such as paint overspray, brake and rail dust (by shearing the particulates that protrude through the clear coat) paint oxidation, water spots that contain minerals, bitumen (tar) resin (sap) and other surface contaminants
• Paint cleaners contain solvents that remove paint oxidation, bitumen (tar) resin (sap) bird and insect excrement, acid rain and water spots and other surface contaminants
• Decontamination products remove acid rain, road salt, hydrazine an extremely active acid that is found in jet fuel, industrial fallout, and the imbedded (below paint surface) iron particles from brake and rail dust

As can be seen decontamination is not a replacement for detailer’s clay or a paint cleaner as they all perform different functions, but usually a combination is required for a pristine paint surface

We talk to so many people who have new cars and they say the paint is "perfect". The cars look great from 20 feet away, like this one did in your first images of it. But a sharp eye picks up the real condition of the paint, and skilled hands make the car look as good from 20 inches, or from 2 inches, as it did from 20 feet.

Decontamination to pristine paint surface

yupp thanks TOGWT- sounds like Monster Inc .......whenever each monster return to the home base they mustn't be seen, if not they have to decontaminate - but its true thats a lot of work to be done
