Opti-Guard....formerly the pro version of Opti-Coat. They changed the name for some reason upon release of the consumer version "Opti-Coat 2.0"

Most online retailers have the consumer version now. The pro version will have to be ordered direct from Optimum and requires you signing a waiver.

Thanks Rasky, I was simply thinking of using some clear coat with the hope to blend it.

I think my aim for perfection will be simply reduce its appearance and be done with it. I have seen scratches repaired with cc and they can look 10 times worse.

What is the most cc you would remove saftely?

            Many Thanks,

            Rappy

Once again your work on a black CTS(or in general) is stunning!

                Hey Rappy,

I will stay in the range of 8-13 microns max, unless the owner insists on pushing it further.

                Thanks!

These cars are a lot like kryptonite to me really and they always require a lot of work to finish down the way I want them too...and for some reason they are the cars I see most!

                Cheers,
