This was a referral from an LT1 I did previously. Guy either owns a construction company or works for one so his truck see's quite the abuse. We were limited on time so I did what I could with what was allowed. It turned out nicely but the sun was going down by the time it was finished up.
Cleaning:
- Washed the entire car including door jams using two bucket method, grit guards & Meguiars hyper wash.
- Entire truck was clay barred using clay magic (blue) and ONR as lube.
- APC 4:1 used on wheel wells, rims, tires, and inner wheel barrels.
- Windows treated with Stoners Crystal Clear.
Correction/Buffing:
- Meguiars M105 Ultra Cut Compound using Orange LC pad on the tail gate and lower panels behind the rear tires.
- Meguiars M205 Ultra Finishing Polish using Black LC pad on the rest of the panels.
- Show Room FX Carnauba Crystal Black Wax using LCC blue jewelling pad.
Dressing:
- Tires and trim dressed with Showroom FX white pearl dressing.
- Wheel wells dressed with Meguiars Natural Finish (matte)

The owner wanted me to remove as much of these scratches as I could as they are an eye sore to who ever gets in on the passenger side.

The hood wasn't too bad.

50/50 shot:

Finished the rest of the panel:

The tail gate was pretty bad. A semi 50/50 shot in the sunlight.

A little closer up shot:

And now finished down:

Swirls gone:

Remember these scratches? About 98% gone. There were a few random deep scratches that would require some damp sanding. The owner was more than happy with what time allowed.

The tail gate finished down. It's not 100% but TONS better than before:

Wheel wells and rubber/trim dressed and ready for pick up:

And here is how she shipped out:

Questions/comments are always welcome! I was a little sad the sun went down so fast (before day light savings).
Thanks for checking it out.
