Almost all dealers up here in Quebec are doing it. I hate those stickers with a passion ! I removed them from all the cars in the family. They put a small one on the trunk and a big on in the front. Trust me, I don't have any on my car !
At least, we don't need a plate in the front on the car here.

Thanks for the comments. Really appreciate them.
I am now working on part 2 of the pictures and hope to be able to make another thread before the week-end.

Quick question, I noticed dealership names on the front of cars? Is that common in Canada or something? I'd be annoyed if I had that on the front of mine
I've never seen those kinda stickers on cars in the west coast, I would never let them put those on my car if I bought one

I personally think it's a bit insulting and disrespectful. You go buy a new vehicle and somebody sticks their advertising on it. I asked them not to do it to my vehicle and they still did it. If they want to advertise on my vehicle, they should ask me first and pay. I doubt the dealership would let me stick an advertising sticker on the window of their business.

Just saying... I know it's common, but it doesn't make it right.

This is soo true. When I purchased my 2009 Vibe last year, I told them that if I come to take delivery of my new car and those sticker were on the car, I would just leave and won't sign the papers and I was more than serious. Thankfully, they didn't put the stickers...

You were not kidding that you have been very busy. Wow, that is a ton of great work there. All the vehicles look great. Keep up the outstanding job.

I really do not care for the dealership decals either. However I see the marketing angle. With no plate or name badges your eyes are drawn to the decal. Still they would be gone as soon as I came home.

The detailing company I had polish my truck when I first bought it, stuck a sticker on it as well

I asked them to remove the dealer sticker, which they did... then they put their own on... lol

I'm coming with part 2 of this thread shortly.

It's funny how this threat became a dealer sticker talk...

I apologize for that, it should be about your work. It's just that the stickers in your photos are something unique, that we've never experienced before.

I can't believe you have a part 2 coming. That's a lot of work for a guy working full time (I assume).

No problem Bill. I just thought that it was funny.
Yes, I am working full time from Monday to Friday. All details are done during week-ends, very few were done on week evening.

Part 2 is now available to see here : http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/sho...299#post428299
