    Looks great man.
Perhaps consider starting a thread in the The Dual Action Polisher Forum to keep from taking this thread in the Show Off forum off topic.

I want to thank everyone for all the positive feedback, and Mike for putting our post on the MeguiarsOnline.com front page!!!

We started working on the El Camino with no particular goal in mind, other than to see if we could make the paint look nicer. I was hoping for some good results, and the car turned out much nicer than I had hoped. My brother uses his El Camino to haul around his horse, so it's a real working vehicle. The finish looked pretty rough to start, with surface scratches plus some scrapes from a hit-and-run sideswipe. I hoped that when we were done, the glossy paint would draw everyone eyes away from the leftover flaws. Altogether, we spent about 5-hours working on it, with the #83 and #80 steps taking the longest (naturally).

Thanks again for all the enthusiastic responses!!

Hahahaha! I guess I have a nutty family, too (I know the neighbors think so)!!

My wife thinks I'm nutty for spending time to post our results, but hey, I'm just having fun sharing (okay, and bragging a little too ) !!

It's a '57 with some unique mods from that era.....it has a '58 Rochester Fuel Injection unit (originally this car had dual quads), plus a Paxton supercharger from an Avanti, and a old Hydramatic (4-speed) auto that's been beefed by B&M. It's been in storage for a long time, and now my dad is trying to get it back on the road (hopefully soon!!).

'62 Fuelies are cool!! I wish I could afford a solid axle (along with my current car, of course.....I'm not greedy )

When we polish up the '57, I'll take some pictures and post them here. It's difficult to take good photos of a white car, but I'll try.

That's one bad mother Camino man! especially that one now that it is in awesome shape. Friend of mine and his stepdad are doing a frame up restoration on a 84 Camino SS with a choo choo customs front clip. Nice work man AR

We'll see if he takes care of the shine now. I'll have to shame him into taking better care of the finish, especially since we spent all that time and effort to get the car looking nice!!
