  • Thanksgiving Day Detail!

We were all visiting my parents for Thanksgiving, and I decided to bring all of my Megiuar's paint care products in case we were bored. I suggested that we polish my brother's El Camino....check out the results!

Before - single stage paint is very oxidized

    We performed the following:
    Wash
    Clay
    #83
    #80
    NXT

    After - See the results

Awesome. Minos rock! SS paint is almost cheating when it comes to polishing.

Did you try the #80 first? Were there specific flaws you were looking to correct or just remove the oxidation?

Bet your Bro was from ear to ear!

Amazing! That qualifies as an X Treme Makeover! Did you use a PC or rotary with the #83? How long did it take you to do that?

That paint looked like it was faded beyond repair, but you brought it back!

After washing the El Camino, we all helped clay the paint!

My daughter (goofy yet effective technique ):

            My son helped, too:

And my brother tried his hand at claying for the first time:

Next, we got the PC out, and started polishing with #83!!

            My daughter loves to help

            First results with #83:

My brother's first time polishing with the PC!! BTW, the white car in the background is our next polishing project

After the #83 and #80, it was time for NXT (that's me )

My dad watched the whole process, and after the El Camino was done, he was astounded!! He said he wouldn't have believed it had he not seen it happen with his own eyes! We all had a fun and productive Thanksgiving!! Maybe it's the start of a new family tradition!!

I just picked up some 83 and 80 - just wanted to know the proper amount of time required for each product on the paint on that condition car.

                              Looks great man.
