thanks Kerrin, actualy i will be picking up the rotary because it took alot of long passes with the DA to be able to remove the swirls (working 16"x16" area), the DA is pretty safe for correction and it gave me a LSP surface, but it lacks the cutting power for the amount of time i'am given. the DA is great if time is not limited. but for faster work, a pass with rotary and then DA would be faster IMO.

Ah yes, very true about the time required. My rule of thumb is if the DA can't remove the swirls on the first application I'll break out the rotary and finish up with the DA.

i dont have that luxury yet, but soon i will be geting my Rotary, i have been spending more money on products and using the DA.
