A detail in progress: Web cam, no pics

I am doing work for a client in Northern Florida at Bobby Likis shop in Pensocola. Bobby has the largest privately owned radio show in the nation, it is very cool.

He had set up a web cam to broad cast from www.watchbobbylive.com

If you scroll down there will be a link with yours truely doing what I do.

The subject is a 1993 Mercedes Benz 500e, which is different then an E 500. This car was hand built by Porsche in Stuggart and at the time ran circles around the M5. Very cool car.

So far it has been cleaned and the plan for today is to clay, tape it up, and hopefully polish out the majority of the deeper acid rain etching. Tomorrow (if on schedule) I will finish polishing and detail it.

UPDATE: Washed, clayed, getting ready to polish. Lots of deep water etching, hopefully I don't need to sand out. I will be updating as I go, but because I am punching away on my Iphone, I will up date here and copy and paste over here tonight.

I watched you working on the passenger-side front fender. It was fun to watch the master in action, but I almost felt like I was spying on you. Was that a Makita rotary you were using?

Great idea. I have this in my garage also. I give a link to my clients to watch their cars if they are interested in why a detail cost what it cost.

Okay I'm taking 5-10...

I know its not the most exciting thing in the world but it is kinda cool (if my underwear didn't show. Those are MY teal drawers, nobody elses)
