The HORRIBLE aftermath of Body shop/Mech nightmare...
Re: The HORRIBLE aftermath of Body shop/Mech nightmare...
Sorry to hear about your bad experience. For next time if there will be a next time (hopefully not) keep in mind, the car is not to leave the shop until it's 100% back to normal. You're a paying customer and if they pass off this kind of work and try to call it a day it's things like this that can put them out of business. When it comes to bodywork in most cases you get what you pay for. Just keep this in mind when you choose a bodyshop to finish the repairs.
I had a minor accident a few years back (my TL got rear ended) and when I went to pick up the car I was not satisfied due to some over spray being on the car. I told them, "finish" it then I will pick it up. The next day I went and the car was "complete" and looking better then it did before the accident. They clayed, polished and waxed the entire car. I told the guy, see now that wasn't so hard. Just my two cents.. hope it helps.

Cool, spent $3,700.00 on the car and $1,600.00 on the rental. So I'd say I payed enough and got way more than I payed. We're getting a lawyer involve and are problably just take them to small claims hopefully will get atleast $3,500. The paint job was only $250 and actully looks really good and matches perfectly to the rest of the car. I'm taking it to the dealer to fix the rest, hopfully it won't hurt as much as this did.
Oh I forgot about the overspray on the windshield, the oily hand print on the piller and my sun shield.
This one's also alot darker in person. Nice gressy fingers! Yea!
