Today I had the chance to detail a Porsche boxster that was used for a Meguiars product shoot. I understand that it will be used as a back drop for various products in printed material as well as on the internet.
The car is a rare "burnt orange" color.
The car didn't look too bad at first but it wasn't up to my or Meguiars standards.
See in this first pic that it has a bit of micro maring (spiderweb). Not much for the average car but we had to get it near perfect.
I first tried swirl free polish with the PC. It wasn't aggresive enough for the results I wanted. I then changed to a new clean pad and used DACP. That worked great. That was then followed by swirl free polish then topped with NXT.
