  • 2001 Toyota Corolla

Ok, I must say I'm pretty worried as I'm not only from US but not even from the same continent.

I'd like to show you the detail work I did on my Corolla which I'm really proud of - both detail and the car.

    This is the final result:

And here is what I used and what I did to get there:

    1) cleaning tires (Vers-Angle Tire Brush With Short Handle + NXT Generation Foam Tire Cleaner)
    2) cleaning rims (Ultra-Safe Wheel Spoke Brush + Hot Rims Chrome Wheel Cleaner)
    3) washing (Vers-Angle Body Brush With Long Handle + NXT Generation Car Wash)
    4) drying (Water Magnet Microfiber Drying Towel)
    5) paint cleaning step 1 (Supreme Shine Microfiber + Quik Clay + Quik Detailer)
    6) paint cleaning step 2 (Even-Coat Applicator Pad + Supreme Shine Microfiber + ScratchX/Deep Crystal Step 1 Paint Cleaner)
    7) polishing (Soft Foam Applicator Pad + Supreme Shine Microfiber + Deep Crystal Step 2 Polish)
    8) waxing step 1 (Soft Foam Applicator Pad + NXT Generation Tech Wax) - applying wax
    9) detailing tires (Soft Foam Applicator Pad + Endurance High Gloss)
    10) detailing trim (Soft Foam Applicator Pad + Supreme Shine Microfiber + Gold Class Trim Detailer)
    11) waxing step 2 (Supreme Shine Microfiber) - wiping wax off
    12) cleaning windows (Duo-Fiber Glass Towel + NXT Generation Glass Cleaner)
    12) woskowanie lakieru 3 (Soft Foam Applicator Pad + Deep Crystal Step 3 Carnauba Wax) - applying wax
    13) detailing rims (Soft Foam Applicator Pad + Deep Crystal Step 3 Carnauba Wax) - a kind of experiment
    14) waxing step 4 (Supreme Shine Microfiber) - wiping wax off

Here are some more photos of the result I achieved:

More pictures can be found in these two threads on Meguiars Poland forum:

I do hope you like it.

Hmmm, think you missed a spot or two.

          HA!

          Looks awesome

I've done both my cars by hand, very hard work. Very nice job indeed.

About 6 hours total. And to make sure I had enough time to wash the car without other people queueing, I was at the car wash at 6 AM on Sunday. Is that insane or not yet??

Thank you. The rims are aftermarket - the stock are 14", these are 16". They are the biggest ones I could fit without having to rip the car apart.
