  • Trunkpanel from 1967 VW 1502

A collague at work had a challenge for me,he gave me a trunkpanel from a Volkswagen that dates from 1967 that was heavily oxydated and scratched, and said " i bet you can't make this red and shiny again! "
He is always saying " that Meguiars stuff your using is'nt any better than other brands" so i was glad i had a chance to show what it can do!!!!

First i did some wetsanding with 2000grit,followed by 2500grit and then hit the panel with the rotary with m84 on a cutting pad. Followed by m83 on a polishingpad ,and finished with m80 on a polishingpad!

    AFTER 1 PASS WITH M80

This is how it came out when it was finished

Did you help him pick up his jaw from the ground?

Great transformation. Panel looks better then new. Great work. Congrats on the new client.

WOW! That's a great turn around. That panel probably didn't look that good when the car was new.
