That should clear up any confusion as Mike Pennington's reply was very straightforward. That said, just to make sure there is no confusion,

M105 is not formulated for use with a Dual Action Polisher.

Just to add to Mike's excellent post, M105 is a compound and therefore a follow-up polishing step is required. Now with that said, you may come across a paint where you feel that the polishing step is not required, but is the exception rather than the rule.

That being said, if I know anything about humans my $5 says there will soon be a post saying:
" Wow, I hear M105 rocks, so that and my G110 should make finish perfect and wax ready pronto, right?"

sometimes things are said because its "not recomended." I would never recomend someone that's not a professional to do it. But to say you CAN'T do something is a limiting the potential of all the products. But again you must trust your skill level to try something.

One thing about Meguiar's product is you need to create your own artisic system for each product and vehicle. There is no cookie cutter process when using Meguiar's.

I will quote myself. Maybe I should have said "DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME"

I knew this post would be outside the box "process speaking" but that's why I love Meguiar's because as a professional sometimes I and others discover things that were never intended for the product to do but it does and does it well.

Anyways, just for everyones info this car was flawless AFTER a wipe down with a ACHOHOL solution once I was done with #105.

My client was extremely happy and signed up for a maintenance plan to avoid future problems.

You know when they started McDonalds people said fast food would never work. So always be careful what you limit anything to. Detailing is an ART and there is NO formula for every car. You must find a system that works for you on each car. I have been detailing for over 12 years as a professional and I still learn things all the time.
