So I took my car to El Mirage, a dry lake bed near my place, and my car got pretty messed up. I won't admit to this on the other car forums I frequent, but I may have ran into a patch of dry brush while I was out there. Anyways, on to the photos. This is my car before:

Now this is the morning after I got home.

Next is after a quick rinse.. didn't do much

Now we're getting somewhere!

And lastly, the finished product:

I love my baby after a good wash... one last photo

This was all thanks to Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash, Gold Class Wax, Meguiar's buffer, ScratchX, interior wipes, multi-piece wheel cleaner, about two dozen microfiber towels, two chammoises(sp?), some Stoners glass cleaner(sorry, no Meguiar's for the windows), and of course, a great teacher.
p.s. I hope to be able to attend a detailing 102 class sometime in the near future. The 101 was a great experience, and the pizza wasn't half bad either.
Edit: I forgot to mention that some little kid swiped his finger across the back of my car and I damn near ripped his arm off for it.
scratches make my civic sad
