  • Meguiar's Online Rocks!

So I took my car to El Mirage, a dry lake bed near my place, and my car got pretty messed up. I won't admit to this on the other car forums I frequent, but I may have ran into a patch of dry brush while I was out there. Anyways, on to the photos. This is my car before:

Now this is the morning after I got home.

Next is after a quick rinse.. didn't do much

    Now we're getting somewhere!

    And lastly, the finished product:

I love my baby after a good wash... one last photo

This was all thanks to Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash, Gold Class Wax, Meguiar's buffer, ScratchX, interior wipes, multi-piece wheel cleaner, about two dozen microfiber towels, two chammoises(sp?), some Stoners glass cleaner(sorry, no Meguiar's for the windows), and of course, a great teacher. p.s. I hope to be able to attend a detailing 102 class sometime in the near future. The 101 was a great experience, and the pizza wasn't half bad either.

Edit: I forgot to mention that some little kid swiped his finger across the back of my car and I damn near ripped his arm off for it. scratches make my civic sad

Perhaps the plural of chamois is chamoii?

Hot car! I love the color! Guess you didn't get any scratches from that dry brush at the lakebed?

Wow, that really looks fantastic. Those wheels look great.

Re: This is why Mike Phillips deserves a raise.

How about we change the title of this thread to Meguiar's Online Rocks or Meguiar's Rocks, or something, anything that doesn't reference me.

There are so many people here at Meguiar's that work so hard to make you our customers successful, my part is just that, a part.

Unless there's any objections, we're going to change the title okay?

I don't want or deserve or need this kind of public recognition.

        Thanks -Mike

Sorry about that, Mike. I don't want to burn any bridges here. But you're right, there are a ton of people at Meguiars that bust their *** on a daily basis so people like us can have quality stuff to ensure our cars look as good as possible!

As for the brush, I got a couple light scratches but they buffed right out
