Wow that must have been a massive undertaking for not just you, but Alpine to build that car. The fiberglass work on it is uncanny!

Yes. I believe I am correct in stating that the only exterior parts that are not modified are the headlights and the hood (and the remaining parts of the a-pillars).

When working on the car, I recall telling Steve that I felt like I was working on a mass-produced car. What I meant by that was that it didn't feel like a kit car.

The panels line up as good as any world-class, factory-built automobile.

That car is out of control! What on earth do they do with those cars after the show I wonder? Certainly never see anything like that on the road!
My car's so shiny I can see your car's swirls in its reflection.

                  Ok -

                  just my very personal opinion.

The rubbing/polishing came out great!....the car on the other hand....looks like something from the Aliens movies - not my preference.

                  overall cool though!

Well, some of them are still parked at our office. We have one sitting INSIDE of the lobby. The rest of them are inside our inside parking.

I have after a few years they get crushed, thought

But seriously, Alpine's over-the-top showcars are hardly roadworthy, nor are they comfortable to sit in for any number of minutes.

I might sneek a picture of our office later. ssssh.

Sorry I haven't posted pics and a write-up about the Rub-Out... Unfortunately, I tried to upload a pic some time ago and it didn't agree with the website.

Since that time I cannot load ANY picture of any kind.

I may have to send a CD of the pics to one of y'all out there and have YOU post them! I feel bad because Joe (Superior Shine) and Jason Rose (Waxman) were kind enough to come help out...

                        It has been very frustrating.
