    Don’t tell me I “CAN’T” do something!

LOL! Owner told there was no way I could save this car, actually he laughed at me when I suggested taking a crack at it. Laugh at me? That sealed this cars fate! Plus we all know how much I love a challenge

196x model CITROËN, Think the owner said 64’ but I’m not 100% sure of that. This belongs to a guy that was doing some work on my bug for me. Total of 35 hours in this car.

            Very cool Nick...

Aren't old single stage paints fun to work on as compared to modern clear coat paints... plus you can show DRAMATIC before and after pictures that are really hard to match from just removing swirls out of a clear coat...

Citroens are quirky cars, and I think that's what attracts some people to them...

            Again.. stellar work...

I kind of like it. But I like pretty much any car that is a little off and different. And I think your statement should be "I DON'T" instead of "WE DON'T"

Ah yes, the wonders of single stage paint! If you know what you're doing, and Nick obviously does, you end up looking like a magician to those whoe don't know!

Opinions vary, of course, but the Citroen DS is widely considered to be one of the greatest cars of all time. It was decades ahead of it's time when it debuted in the late '50s and remains an amazing bit of automotive engineering. Personally, I love these things!

Nick, did get a chance to drive it or at least get a ride in it? It's a unique experience to say the least.

Those things are so much fun to drive! I think this is the only Frech car I like. And you did a fantastic job on this car! Any interior pics??

Really cool. It looks great now. It's difficult not to smile looking at that thing.

The most comfortable car you will ever want to ride in. This model came out in 1958. The '57's looked the same for the previous 20 years. They looked like they cme from "The Untouchables" TV series. The front door handle was at the forward side of the door.

Awesome work, Nick. And it's really inspiring to see you back doing what you do best following your recovery from surgery.

Citroens were advanced for their day and I have read that some of the engineering, to an extent, were inspired by the 1948 Tucker Torpedo as well as engineering and design concepts first developed by Howard Hughes.
