S2000 from hack to BLACK! EXTREME PAINT CORRECTION!
Re: S2000 from hack to BLACK! EXTREME PAINT CORRECTION!
Great,
I just wondering how the way you polish the hood? in the picture there're some hologram prior detailing which i believe they're instilled by untrained operator (which i think i'm too). Did you divide the hood into sections? If You did, then how many sections? I've noticed that using a M205 and finishing pad on the larger panel, i could not blend between sections even i did overlap those sections. I mean the last polished area is look a bit brighter than the previous one, and in the end they're look alike, but there're some spot that brighter than the others. After applying NXT, they're look the same, but i still wondering what caused them.

Please correct me if i'm wrong (I'm a newbie in this interesting world of polishing).
So, you mean that you tackle the hood panel at once.
I'd like to know couple of things if you don't mind :
- how many passes have you did on the hood panel (and the rpms)
- i'd like to know which priming method that you prefer used (QD or the product itself)
- how many product that you used for the entire hood panel.

Thanks.
Passes are as required for the results I am attempting to achieve. I keep RPM down below 1800. I don't prime....ever.
Six product were used on the hood- sand paper, compound, wool pad, polish, foam pad, wax.
