S2000 from hack to BLACK! EXTREME PAINT CORRECTION!

A client brought me this Honda S2000 that was certainly in need of a little love.





Here is a close up of the finish. Notice the texture. This was obviously a repaint. A very poor repaint at that.



A hardcore sanding was in order so that I could level the finish. I used the mirka air sander on the larger flat areas and hand sanded the near the edges and smaller areas.



Here is the hood after #105 and #205.




She wears a brilliant shine now!!

Only three products went on this paint after I sanded it. Meguiars #105 compound followed by #205 then topped with #21.

I switched pads and machines to give me the cut and or polishing that I required at any given time.
