    As long you use a premium grade filler and follow mfg procedures you will have no problem on doors, gates.

    It's like baking a cake , use the right steps and it wont flop.

          He was hit hard in the rear, trashed the bumper and tail gate I looked for 3 months for used but no luck. he needed the ins money for other things so I am helping him out . I replaced the bumper with a roll pan and he loved the look and it made the gate look worse so I agreed to fix it.


          Nice bumper! Did you make it from scratch using sheet metal? Looks pretty good.

          I can see the huge dent on the gate in this picture!!! Good call on fixing it.

            The roll pan is fiberglass from A & A auto parts In Lemoyne Pa. A & A is owned by Joe Amoto the Drag racer He has a few parts stores.

                          I got caught up so I thought I would bang out the paint b4 the weather got cold.

                          A few bugs and a couple dirt nibs but after scuff & buff I was happy.



















                          Steps

                          1. 3 coats base color
                          2. 3 coats High solids clear UTEC 4.0
                          3. Dry D/A Sand Norton 1500G
                          4. Rotary Buff Flex Red wool SOLO w/ #86 2 passes
                          5. Rotary Buff Flex Yellow Foam # 86 SOLO
                          6. Rotary Buff Flex Yellow Foam # 105 1 Pass
                          7. G110 D/A Black Foam #205
                          8. 12 oz COORS LIGHT
                          9. Sit back and enjoy the Reflection. LOL
