  • Neighbor's Motorcycle...

First, let me say that I really hate doing bikes. Not sure why, but they just seem to take so long! So many places to clean, and for accidental splatter to fly into

Here's my neighbor's bike. This guy is the neighbor that everyone wants. He does everything for everyone, and NEVER asks anything in return. He's the guy that will always be there when you laying shingles on your house, digging a ditch, crawling under you car, whatever. He's always there and never complains! Everyone always asks him to help them, but I never see anyone do anything for him, so I thought he deserved a little "payback".

So I asked him if I could ride his bike for a couple of days, and of course he said yes I had no intentions of putting a single mile on his bike, but I figured it would be the only way I would get it from him. If he knew what I was going to do, he wouldn't give it to me.

As you can see, it was in desperate need of some loving...

            AWESOME!!!

Very Cool! If I were closer, I'd have given you a hand. Been cleaning bikes for 15+ years! LOL!

I have to agree... cars/trucks are much easier! I spend just as much time on a bike as I do on my own truck. Just as many surface types, but all are exposed to the elements... and about a million times more nooks & crannies!

            Kudos on the neighborly surprise!
The only reason some people get lost in thought... is because it is unfamiliar territory for them.

Didn't really clean the tires except when I washed them. I get nervous putting anything on them

Nice job on the bike! You both seem like the kind of neighbors to have! I have been lucky to have had the same kind of neighbors and have always reciprocated in return. What did he say when he saw it?

WOW those swirls looked bad, or one big swirl and hologram.

The bike more than likely looks better than new!

That's a nice thing to do on top of that.

                              Good show
