Ehhh, I've probably got about 10 hours in this thing, and I barely scratched the surface To do it complete and right, I could easily have 30-50 hours in this thing. But that would have required a lot of disassembly, and I just didn't have the time to do it on this one.

Great job and a nice way to pay it foward !!

About how many hours did you have in this job? There are a couple of bike onwers that would like for me to do there bike instead of there cars. I have always passed because they look very time cosuming.

Great job on the bike and really nice to return a favor for a neighbor that never ask or wants anything in return, I'd say the reaction and surprise from your neighbor/friend when he seen what you really done was better then money any ways!

Do have a question though, why did you apply a wax with a rotary?

That was a typo

It was applied DA and a tan pad. When I noticed my typo, the "edit" button had already disapeared

Yes, his reaction was priceless. I wish I could have gotten it on film As soon as I gave him the bike, he took off on it for a ride. He confessed to me later that day, that he was actually thinking about selling it, but now he's not going to. He said it's brought the "love" back into the bike Don't think I've ever quite heard it put that way. But I'm glad he's decided to keep it.

You're garage looks awesome. The pics from the new camera are looking really good from here.

My neighbor (works for a HD dealership) and they dress the sidewalls of the tires with something.

The alloy wheels themselves looked like garbage. The claim was they looked that way to entice an upgrade to chrome @ $1,000 per wheel. Dealers... they're all the same.

I still can't seem to master this darn thing. If I don't have the tripod, my pictures don't seem to come out very well. Practice practice practice!

Tell Jason that I'd love to borrow his motorhome, but it may just end up around Destin Fl, sandy and dirty Speaking of which....I really need to take an actual vacation. Siesta Key in Florida sounds pretty darn good right about now

He was really surprised and excited. He couldn't stop saying thank you, and kept trying to pay me.

This bike it about all he has for himself. He has two little girls, plus the wife. He owns his own business, and works ALL THE TIME. When he's not working, he's taking his girls to volleyball, soccer, softball or whatever else their playing at that time. The only time he really gets time for himself, is when he's riding. So I felt that was the most appropriate way to pay HIM back.

You both are good men!

The bike more than likely looks better than new!
