Because there was so much surface area on that truck and canopy, I used the Marine version of the Water Magnet as it is much bigger than the automotive Water Magnet and would allow me to dry the truck and canopy in one pass.

I'm new here but all I can say is wow , great transformation.
My experience is only with rotory buffers so I need a little advise,
#84 Compound Power Cleaner with W-7006 Cutting Pads
* #83 Dual Action Cleaner Polish with W-8006 Polishing Pads
* #80 Speed Glaze with W-8006 Polishing Pads
* #21 Synthetic Sealant with a W-9006 Finishing Pad
* X-2010 Supreme Shine Microfiber
* X-4003 Gold Class Microfiber Bonnets over a W-7006 Cutting Pad
these are the products u used with a rotory and G100 at which point did u go to the G100?
As u can see by my name I do bikes in the past I would hand rub to get the swirls and haze out of my work, I am now going to buy the G100 soon . getting to old to hand rub everything

I used the #80 Speed Glaze with the W-8006 pad on the G100, after the #84 and #83 steps with the rotary.
As for the G100, you will LOVE it!!! Trust me!!!!
I hope you can post some pictures of your bikes!

O
I use a twin head 1000 watt Halogen light with adjustable stand. It will give you a pretty good idea, though not perfect, of what the finish will look like in the sun. I also use a Brinkmann Xenon light. But to be honest, over time and experience, you kind of get a feel for when a paint finish is final ready for the "Sun" check. Looking at the finish in the sun is really the only way to get a "full" view of the quality of the finish, IMO.
