Yet another new product to clutter my shelves, I wasn't expecting much from this product after all the hype that surrounded NXT. Don't take that the wrong way I like NXT but when you expect to much from a product it never delivers. So with #21 I expected nothing more then the results I'm getting from NXT.
I tested #21 on a brand new 2005 Ford Harley Davidson Edtion. The vehicle was in great shape with minor swirls in a few areas. Being that it's black it was a good thing that the dealer wasn't able to get their detailer to prep it. I started with claying of the entire truck , followed by #83 with orange pads on my cyclo , I only did this step on the areas that had the minor scratches and swirls. I then followed up on the entire truck with #80 with green pads on the cyclo. The #80 gave the black a nice deep shine and a nice slick surface for the #21. I then applied #21 with the cyclo using white pads.
My impression of #21 are :
application - was a breeze with the cyclo alittle product goes alone way about 2 oz to do the entire truck.
dry time - it was a bit cold when I applied #21 so it seemed to take alittle longer then 20 mins to dry out.
removal - after #21 had dried completly it came off very easy there was no binding or skipping of the towel when I removed.
Now onto the bad , if I tried to remove #21 before it dried I got some annoying smearing but I believe the cold caused the prolonged dry time. Now for the next problem that I believe the cold caused , after I buffed #21 of I did a followup with NXT speed detailer to make sure everything was removed and had a helper follow behind me to make sure all residue had been removed which we both agreed it was. After parking the truck out side for about an hour we set up to take some photo's upon inspection we found some places that had wax residue on them still. Mind you it wasn't alot but enough to notice. I think that the cold caused some hazing in the areas where #21 was applied thick. All and all I think #21 is a very nice product a must have for profesionals who like and use NXT. I think the issues I had where caused my the wheather and nothing more. Overall I was impressed with the product and will purchase it again.
As for te look of #21 you be the judge of that , my personal opinion of the look is that t's wetter then NXT and more reflective then #20 but not as wet as #16.
