No, I had them done shortly after I got the car. It's 30% tint....kinda wish I had gone a little darker now. When I decide to put my business logo on the back I will go to 20%.
Thats cool. I didnt know they could do that to paint. How do they do it? Strip the factory clear then repaint it or something?

Thanks for the write up Rasky,
The car looks great, and I can't wait to use my new gallon. It's supposed to be 66 here on Saturday and I wont have my son, so I plan on pulling my black Grand Prix in the garage and giving it an ONR wash, 205 with the Flex on a black finishing pad and a coat of 21. It's in pretty good shape, but I haven't really done anything to it accept wash and UQD it in months and It has a few light scratches on it. Fired up to use 205!

              Hey Justin,
I will see if I can remember to bring the camera home from work, I lost my camera to the ex and the only one I've had is on my cell phone.

So what is the purpose of a tinted clear? What does that do vs a regular clear?

Not really sure....maybe one of the paint pro's can step in on that one.

I know that BASF uses just a 2 stage BC/CC though for my paint code though...

I've gotten into it with him before too.

Per the advice of a fellow MOL member, I learned to just push away from the keyboard.

                        Thanks Al!

Rasky... now I on the other hand found this little write up very useful. I am looking at getting a bottle and have been reading what others say about the product. Thanks for taking time to do this.

OT- I no longer post on other car care forms for good reason prior to MOL I frequented another well known board and got some good helpful info and really it got me started but seems they always had something bad to say about everyone and always argued. Anyway... MOL is much more friendly and if I am going to use their forum (Meguiars) and ask for advise I better support it by purchasing their product. End OT
