No lint so far. Just way too big and bulky to use.

That explains all that "stuff" that I had in the upper LH corner of my windshield but not anywhere else. It actually looked like marring in the windshield. I was wondering all week how those marks got there! It disappeared after I washed the car today.

The NXT Glass Cleaner works just as well with old fashion cotton non-linting rags so choice of towel is not that critical.

My towel is starting to tear after the third wash. I wonder if is needed to be wash in a gentle cycle or inside one of those delicate garmets bags. No lint issues so far in my end.

After one solo wash, I now have the lint problem. Towel also seemed not handle the wash so well either?

Well I gave the towel another try thanks to Meguiar's shipping me out a replacement at no charge. Thanks Meguiar's!

However, like the previous towel I had, after one wash (this time on gentle), I have noticed it has begun to pull away from the outer stiching again. I didn't notice a lint problem, but I think if I ever get another Duo-Towel, I need to wash it inside one of those garment bags as previuosly mentioned. Oh well

i bummed..... i just bought one of these today and just washed it before i use it tomorrow, and it has ripped along the satin edging about two inches. not to mention.... the fibers were loose and sticking out all over prior to washing. is there a quality control issue with these?

I bought a couple of these and they look very ragged after being used and hand washed in Woolite just once. Small tears and broken threads everywhere. They are now throwing a lot of lint as well. Guess I need to call the support line. So yes, i'd say I think there is an issue with these towels.

                      question:
how often should the glass duo fiber be washed? after every use or when it has dirt build up, mine gets dirty after each use from black residue from window molding and dirt from windows, yellow on inside of front winsheild from cigeratte smoking(not very often in my car of course but on long road trips I can't resist also any tips for cleaning inside of windsheild and back glass? it is difficult to wipe product off because of the angle for both these windows(inside only)
                      Please reply-thanks

I have not tried this towel since they first came out. It was just terrible.

                        Have these problems been fixed?

Meguiars should really do something about some of their accessories.
The Chenille mitts and pads, terrible linting from them. The Even Coat applicators fall apart and now the Duo Fibers fall apart too and lint, something you really don't want on your windows.
                          Not very impressive IMO.

I tumble-dried my towels after washing them last time. This cured the linting issue for a short while, but after two or three uses it's started again.

It's a real shame, because when they work, they're quite simply the best glass towel out there. When they start linting however, they rapidly go to the bottom of the list.

I know this is a bit off-topic, but I use a glass cleaning cloth that I was able to get at Walmart for like $3.50 or so by another manufacturer. It has been great so far. It doesn't have much of a nap to it, it is a very smooth MF towel.

I would have tired the Meguiars if I could have found one for a decent price locally.

I bought a couple of these towels back in August. They fell apart when washed. Meguiar's sent me two more and those fell apart too. Before they fell apart they left massive amounts of lint on my car windows too.

I threw away the duo-fiber towels and now I use some small waffle weave microfibers that I bought from an on-line detailing store.
