Hello all. I havent paid much attention to paint protection in the last few years as my cars were older beaters.
But the price of gas has spurred me on to buying a new gas sipper. A Toyota Prius 2008. It is metallic red whatever they call it.
So, I now want to do right by it. I want this 45-50mpg auto to last a while and do it looking good if possible!
I was looking over the site and the myriad of choices in waxes, polymers, etc and have a question:
The engineer in me remembers something about wax melting away in the heat of a sunny day. Wouldnt this diminish the protection?
Is the NXT 2.0 different in this way? Not intending to offend or start a fight; just want to know the best product to use in Hot central florida weather. Unfortunately the vehicle will sit outside as the garage is full of junk just now from an air condition/ air handler change out.
So whats best for my area if left outside in the sun and weather? I will be claying and cleaning and polishing and then final coverage but am just not sure what product is best for my import paint hot sun application.
Again Im glad to be here! I hope to learn a lot!
