Hey everyone,

We just went through Pending Accounts and kicked out all the known spammers and then approved all the people waiting to have their accounts approves so they can start posting to the forum.

As hard as we try, and we try pretty hard, a few Spammers always slip by and post their trash on our forum.

So be on the lookout for Spammers and if you find a Spam post you should "Report" it as fast as you can and either Tim or I will remove it.

You can also shoot either Tim or I a Private Message or an E-mail and in my case if you like you can call me on my cell.

On a personal note, I'm going to be under a 1974 260Z replacing U-Joints on the driveline and the half shaft axels, so I'll be checking on the forum whenever I come into the house but at least for today, if a Spammer is found, please feel encouraged to call me ASAP.

We don't put up with Spam on this forum.

Yep, most buy them a computer instead of a book or kicking them out of their rooms to experience life. We don't have cable/direct tv etc, our only internet accessable computer is in the living room and we buy the kids books from book club at school instead of games. They do have games but closely monitored and we kick them out of the house when it's nice outside. I have a never ending supply of tubes for bikes, basketballs, baseballs, tennis rackets/balls etc. AND!! we take them to church and youth group in the evening and make them play at least one sport a year (not that they wont, they love sports).

Video games and computers in their rooms are a great babysitter. My wife and I like to get away, but farm the kids out to family and friends. We lock the computer if we're gone just for a day. "Can we play on the computer??" "umm, no" "Go outside, walk the dog"

Sorry for the ramble, and hope my reply to the teen thread was taken as a alert to you guys to keep it at the top.

If that's the same one that I reported also, you're correct. That ticked me off so much to see that on here. Fortunately Tim was on it in a few minutes and banned the guy's IP.

Just a heads-up...

We just approved more new members and within minutes we were spammed and luckily Tim caught it and moved it before the Spammer knew what hit him.

We usually approve new member's in the morning's when we know we are going to be by the computer. Usually, if a Spammer gets through our approval process and then get their confirmation e-mail, they tend to spam us shortly afterwards.

Anyway, just a heads up and a thank you to Tim for his constant due diligence and to our forum members for contacting us so quickly whenever anything inappropriate shows up on the forum.

Thanks to everyone for the phone calls, e-mails and PM's for todays Spammers/Losers.

We were taking our family out to lunch when it happened, can't sit behind the keyboard all the time.
