On a side note, could we as members put a reply to a spammers thread that Mike or Tim was contacted somehow? "Email sent to Tim and Mike" "Mike was called" etc.

That way we don't bombard them with emails or calls.

Just thinking outloud.

Are there a lot more spammers all of a sudden or is it just me. It used to not seem to be a problem but just in the last few days I've run in to at least 3 threads.

Boy these bottom feeders are fast. Just banned two spammers already.

Their parents must be so ashamed of them...

Yeah, it seems spammers are everywhere.

I actually get spam text messages to my phone every once in a while...

Be on the lookout!

WE just approved over 50 pending accounts and while we did check them for obvious spammers you can't always tell by a forum name or an e-mail address who the bad guys are.

If you see anything then e-mail myself or Tim and will remove the offending spam and ban the offending bottom feeder.

***Update***

Just banned 4 obvious Spammers and approved all new accounts.

Sometimes the bad guys get by us so keep a look out and notify Tim or myself if you find a Spam post and we'll remove it and ban the Spammer.

Is there anyway you can add "spam" button somewhere? so users can click it when he/she sees spam, it automatically page to Mike

Just approved about 50 new accounts, weeded out at least 4 spammers, the rest look legit but you never know.
