      I definitely think there is a difference between the Purple and Yellow applicators.

      The Purple is much more stiff and ruff. The Yellow is more of a soft foam that is flexible and absorbs better...

      I like the purple one too, but the yellow is better. They do sell them separate already dude.

        I tend to like the purple one better. It feels softer.

        When I buy the yellow ones at the local auto parts store, I chose between the packages that they have in the shelve. Some pads seem to be softer than others.

        I don't know, maybe I am imagining things...

          I agree with beginner2002 too and notice that the Nxt foam applicator is nicer to use than the yellow ones.
