since i can last remember, ive been transferring all my deep crystal car soap into an empty bottle of ALL liquid detergent and using the handy cap aka measuring cup along with it. it has made the process of mixing the soap and water so much easier and cleaner too. i usually use about 4 gallons of water along with 4 ounces of soap but did not want to always have to measure out 16 capfuls every time and that can get quite messy. also, you dont have to worry about the excess soap on the cap since the shape of the cap for liquid ALL allows the soap to be drained back into the bottle easily without creating a sticky mess. And on the cap/measuring cup, there are 3 lines for measurement with the middle line equaling 1/2 cup which is 4 ounces, perfect for me. well, maybe meguiars can come up with a high tech bottle of their own and sell it by itself, so we dont have to always pay the extra cost for a bottle that would last a lifetime. sorta like how mr clean sells the replacment soap and filter on its own except this one being that it will last a lifetime
DISCLAIMER: im not sure if this idea is out or not but i havent seen any around the stores in s. california (ie. autozone, kragen, pepboys, kmart, walmart, etc...) but mind you, i only shop over the counter, i havent really got to check out the special world of online/catalogue/mail order type of car care vendors so i cant say but lets get real, meguiars is pretty much the whos who in the car care world and can be found in every store i mention, so im suggesting this product to them for people like me, the average consumer who shops over the counter and favor products that differ from the others on the shelf, either by price, difficulty of use, bonus microfibers
, and so on.
also, i had an off topic question for anyone that can help, i recently bought the smooth surface clay kit and the included microfiber does not have the silk edging around the border and also feels more softer/velvety/dense compared to the sepreme shine mf i have(staticy), could be due to the fact mine have been used and washed but anyway, is this the brand new microfiber without the edging? or is it a special towel that come as a bonus on meguirs products? i just wanted to know since the new mf that replaces the supreme shine loses the silk border so i assumed they were edgless but the stitched edge actually feel softer then the old silk one. anyways, should i avoid contact with the stitched border and the car paint?
