    You should only do a small section at a time no more than 2' X2' with the fine cut cleaner, follow it up with #9 Hi Tech swirl remover. I prefer #21 synthetic sealant as my LSP.

      Try this to remove the dried residue: Apply some fresh product to a small area for about 30 seconds (no larger than 2' x 2' which is how this or any other compound, paint cleaner or polish should be used) and wipe it off immediately. Fresh product should break down the dried residue of the same product and make removal easy.

        Worse case........Maybe try some color X since it is easily available and should easily remove the residue...Just a thought
