This is the fourth bottle of Ultimate Quick Detailer that has developed spray nozzle problems before I am half way through the bottle - 1 of them had a nozzle that didn't work from the first sprsy. Either the nozzles spray a shotgun of large drops while dribbling product on the floor, or a fine mist while dripping on the floor, or just spit a few large drops on the floor and nothing at the car. Eventually they don't work at all. At that point I have to resort to pouring the UQD product directly on a microfiber so I can finish the car!
I use the product once or twice a week on each of my cars, so bottles don't sit around for a long time. An older bottle of NXT Speed Detailer still works fine, as does an even older bottle of Quick Detailer. All these products are stored in the same place.
I love the UQD, but hate the spray head, and am tired of wastoing product on the garage floor or trying to salvage half full, non-functional bottles. What am I doing wrong, or what can I do to work around this problem. I thought of buying a spray bottle and dumping the UQD in the aftermarket bottle, but wondered if the chemical makeup of UQD might be a problem for a different bottle.
