Re: Improving the UQD and UQW sprayers?

One of the best spray bottles I've used is Castrols greentec for motorcycles. It's a good soapy degreaser, but once it's finished clean it and fill it with your favourite juice. It's got 2 modes, spray and single jet. It's even got a special lock to stop the trigger from spinning when you're tightening it up.If it's available in the states...I don't know?

Re: Improving the UQD and UQW sprayers?

My sprayers work fine but I have found a problem with ALL of Meg's products that are in a spray bottle. If they aren't standing up straight they LEAK like crazy. I had just made a purchase at my local O'Reilly for some Tire Shine and Quik Detailer and Wheel Cleaner. Good sale going on. I had left them in the bag and placed them in my garage until the next weekend when I could use them. The next weekend I picked up the bag and all of them were on their side and the bag was filled with liquid. Every bottle was wet and all of them were missing some of their contents. With the tire shine half empty. I will add that these were never opened, never used, never even taken out of the bag. I then did an experiment overnight with some of my other products and they all had some degree of leakage. I think you guys need to look into that.

I also tested some of my waxes since they are different and they seemed okay. I didn't see any leaking with them. Perhaps it was just because the product is thicker and it was just one night but they didn't have any leaks.

I have the same problem with the sprayer with UQD. Now when I buy a new bottle of UQD, I open it and pour it into another bottle with a more typical spray top.

I have the same problem with these sprayers as well. Mist is too light in even the gentlest breeze and after a couple uses the sprayers leak with every pump onto the bottle and your hand. Seems to waste a lot of product.

loved the UQW sprayer when it was new. It sprayed a really fine mist and very good pattern. Half way through the bottle, it's starting to clog or the trigger is not returning to the "start" position. Bummers, I was going to reuse the bottle for QD... oh well.

I agree about the light mist and wind. If there's a breeze, I just spray it into the MF instead of the paint and then wipe.

I've used the UQD about four or five times now(from same bottle.Original),and havn't had any leaking while using. The mist is very fine,so that's the same, but that's okay for me.Maybe not on a windy day.

Well, for me, the sprayers started going bad about halfway through the bottle.
