Welcome to the world of "Car Crazy" Mr. RidgeLine! If as you originally said you only want a product that you use once or twice a year; You my indeed be in the wrong place. The attitude around here seems to be making your car look it's best, and maintaining that look!
I am also a relatively new member and have been confused by the many different products and abbreviations. I just wanted to provide the best protection for a new car. Maybe I have been 'Assimilated' but I now wash my cars every week. I have clayed, polished and waxed more in the past month than ever in my life!
The Meguiar products and the people on this forum are top notch in my book!
Just post a simple question of what you have and how you want to improve it's looks and you will get some great advice. These folks will boil it all done to the 'couple of products' that you are looking for.
