Wishing I'd bought the UDM Kit now - they offer 1 YR Replacement!
Michael
Meguiar's G110 has a 1 year warranty for manufacturers defects. We are well aware of the situation with seanbreaux's machine and will be happy to send him a new machine A.S.A.P.
*Please note that we are currently back ordered on G110's. We sold our first 6 months supply in 3 months. Another order is already on it's way, but will not arrive until the end of April. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

Brian - GLAD to hear that! I was FREAKING after reading of his BAD luck with his and e-mailed my e-tailer ad they said that I can send back the G110 to them - UNUSED [after it gets here] and they will exchange it. BUT mine will be here today or tomorrow and I am going to go on the assumption that the negative reports here [not many, probably compared to total sales] are actually minimal and hopefully the exception rather than the rule. Sure hope & pray so - alot of money for this ol' codger to throw away. Hope to be able to buff out my NEW paint job shortly with my NEW G110.
I got my NEW G110 today, sure seems SOLID, seems heavier than I thought it would be, LOVE that "bail" handle..........I am NOT sending it back [ and sure hope I don't have to either]. Tomorrow she goes to work on my Elky's NEW paint job.....it has alot of orange peel to EAT UP - yummy!
Don't freak out too much. It always seems that you only hear about bad product reviews. When people have bad luck with a product they want everyone to know, however when then don't have any problems they usually don't think to write a review. I'm looking for a new HD TV and I keep getting turned off of models with a few bad reviews, but like I said there are probably way more people happy with it that didn't do a review. As the saying goes "A happy customer tells one friend, and an unhappy customer tells everyone". Plus if for some reason you do have a problem, Meguiar's will take good care of you.
BlueZero - TKS, I hear ya! In fact I believe I did basically end up saying about the same thing [getting self to CALM down] after noticing that there are actually only about two negative reports on the site concerning the G110 - and that being the case that would definitely be a very small percentage of units sold.
I have started using my G110 and I LOVE it!
Hmm I don't think I will be buying a G110 anymore since it's getting to be such a problem...sorry to hear that.
I agree. I love my PC and my Makita rotary and there seems to be lots of problems with the G110. I was surprised by the look of the unit and the problems that people starting having in such a short period of time using it. I wonder who makes the thing? I'm sure it not a quality company like PC. Very surprising. Almost Harbor Freight look to it.
Scott has this right. You can sell a few thousand units of something and have a failure rate of under 1% but if you are reading the forums you can be sure that every one of those who experienced a failure will post about it. The thousands who have not had any issues aren't going to post as they are happy.
That said, new models of anything, cars, computers, TV's, game consoles, software, etc., typically have growing pains in the first few batches. You can expect the manufacturer to repair or replace the defectives under warranty. BTW, I don't know of a more honest and trustworthy company to do business with than Meguire's. I believe most of you who are reading this will agree.
The PC has been around for about 15 years if I recall correctly. Mine (G100) is 12 years old and still performs like new. I suspect the first year of the PC had a higher defect rate than those manufactured in the latter years. That's the way things work.
If I were in the market for a new DA polisher today it would likely be the G110. Seems like a great value proposition in this market.

WHERE are you and others reading of ALL of these negative reports about the G110? I believe there are ONLY 2 negative reports on this forum.......out of how many sold??? Talk about making a "Mountain out of a Mole Hill!".
I will record this as a POSITIVE for the G110 - I LOVE mine and am GLAD I bought it!
