  • G110 Dying.

I have read a few things where people have mentioned their G110 dying.

Mine did too. Here is what I did.

I could get it to turn on again by hitting the back of it with my palm, so...I figured it was just a loose connection.

    First, I unplugged the machine...

Second, There is a screw in the back next to the plug. Opened it up and just made sure all of the wires were pushed into the proper places. I then closed it up and it started right back up again. I finished my car with no problem whatsoever from there out.

It's a new product. Rarely do first generation models not. So, if it dies on you, give that a shot. it worked for me.

It may work but if it doesn't and Meguiar's finds out you opened it up they may choose to not honor your warrenty.

          Update:

After working with it more it appears to not just be a loose connection... So...I retract my quick fix.

So...yeah. I hate posting negative stuff about a machine I really really love, but when it dies just after you have smeared the #83 on your work area, it kind of *****...
