Re: Deep Crystal System Polish
Dont apply it to thick, just thin coats. Wipe it around like you would a skin lotion, just massaging in. Do about half a panel, then remove before it dries.
You can use it often, and yes, a wax after is good.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: Deep Crystal System Polish
Winanjaya, regarding Deep Crystal Polish, apply it to a small area, say, 12"x12". As Murr states, massage it into the paint and then buff off immediately. Do not allow it to dry. As you become more experienced with it, you will be able to expand your work area, but at the beginning, keep the work area small. It's an easy product to work with and you'll soon get the hang of it. Good luck!Swirls hide in the black molecular depths, only waiting for the right time to emerge and destroy your sanity.

Re: Deep Crystal System Polish
Winanjaya, DC Polish and DC Wax are completely different products and serve two different purposes. The polish adds a touch of additional gloss and wetness to the paint. It does not provide any protection against the environment. A wax, on the other hand, does provide protection. If you have to choose just one, choose the wax. Read carefully this article:

Re: Deep Crystal System Polish
Those are 2 different products really, one puts oils onto the surface to help keep the paint healthy and add gloss, and the other protects the surface and helps seal in those oils.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: Deep Crystal System Polish
You already have both Deep Crystal Polish and Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax, right? So begin with those products and see how they work for you. The most important thing, as already mentioned, is for you to adopt a regular wash and wax regimen to keep your car looking good. I think I'm beginning to repeat myself. Read and re-read the 5-step paint care article I linked above. If you later want to try different waxes, then pick up a bottle of NXT and a bottle of Gold Class Carnauba Plus and compare. Some folks prefer Deep Crystal Wax, some prefer NXT, some prefer Gold Class. There's only one way for you to find out which one you prefer. But as I said, I would begin with the products you already own. Here's one method for you:
1) Wash
2) Clay (if your car has never been clayed, then this is something you probably should do)
3) Apply Deep Crystal Polish
4) Apply Deep Crystal Wax (or NXT or Gold Class or whatever)
5) Step back and appreciate the beauty of your car
Good luck and have fun!Swirls hide in the black molecular depths, only waiting for the right time to emerge and destroy your sanity.
