Glasur received. I like it. ALOT. Even more than MPPP. But Meguiars will still be my go-to product for weekly use.
If a tree falls in the forest and there's nobody there to record the event, how can you be certain that there was a tree or even a forest to begin with?

Are you guys referring to the Zymol Glasur?

      Quite pricey @$100/bottle

Detailers clean places nobody see. Detailer see's things nobody else see. But if you ask a Detailer to see how a dress looks on a woman, they are blind.

If they feel like applying 90 coats of zaino but they like the results, we honestly cant argue with that.

Even though I can get better results with 2 coats of M21, that's not the point lol
Caress Detailing got the point. I also use Gold Class and NXT 2.0 but I bought Dodo Juice Diamond White wax ~60$/250ml.

Yes it will not last as long as NXT but it gives that something to the paint. Also smell, the jar and knowledge how expensive it is gives me the luxury feeling

It's bit like comparing fully loaded luxury car for example to Saturn. They both do the job but everybody still wants that luxury car

That's the stuff. $101 with free shipping from Zymol's website. You're right, it is quite pricey. But it goes on like softened butter, smells like coconuts and clean, wipes off without smearing, and looks like I just rubbed liquid mirror onto the paint (black porsche, I'll be testing it on my silver 300C shortly), and like others have said - it feels nice using an expensive wax, like wearing a tailored suit vs. a rack suit, or Reef Flip-Flops vs. Walmart brand rubber flip flops. They all get the job done, but it's the degree of luxury that makes it something else.
I still like NXT 2.0, MPPP, and Gold Class though. Make no mistake.

Well with the ease of use, no smearing, nice smell and obviously excellent results, if the user (like you) finds it's worth it, then it's worth it.

People always use to argue, "Why buy a Ferrari if you can have a 350z with $20 of mods and be faster than the Ferrari?"

Simple answer, "It's not a Ferrari"

As for me, I've finally tried Gold Class after 7 years of touching the stuff, and find the results are absolutely amazing for a $10 bottle of wax. I like it better than M21 and NXT 2.0 on black. I think it's an extremely underrated wax.

              Agreed 100%.

I saw this alot on the forums of the car clubs I belong to - Jeeps and Chrysler LX family - when the Nissan GTR came out. "Blah blah blah, the GTR is a Ferrari killer, it's a Porsche 911 Turbo Killer, why would people buy these cars that cost hundreds of thousands more when the GTR will blow them off the road"

It's a Nissan. A gorgeous, sleek, seductive, and sexy Nissan, but it's still a Nissan.

I just bought a Porsche 944...I could have gotten a considerably faster car for the same money - but I got a Porsche

Gold Class is my go-to wax for regular use on all colors. It looks great on my greenish-silver 300C, and great on my black Porsche as well (but not as good as MPPP and Glasur). In its price range, it FAR outclasses all the competitors. NXT 2.0 is good because of the cleaners in it, and the shine is good, but a little too silvery instead of showing the color of the car. When I use GC on the 300C, it looks like greenish silver, when I use NXT 2.0 or M26, it looks silver.

Zymol sells one for $8,416 but it's refilled for life.
They also have a "Limited Edition" wax that you have to mix yourself for $25,000 IIRC. It's "Activated by the Sun", they call it Solaris. Again, refilled for life.

Over $1000 is way too far for me - I think that $100 is pushing it a bit, but after trying a $100 wax, I'm tempted to try even more expensive ones (Zymol Destiny is the object of my lust at the moment), but I don't really have a NEED - just a neurotic desire... Maybe when I'm rich and have more money than I know what to do with.

Good Lord. $8416 for 2 cans of glaze

You better use that on every car in the world, or even refills are not worth it.

                      Re: $274 can of wax

I read 100% of and enjoyed 100% of the side by side test on the 7 black brand new Corsas that were all prepped in the exact same way until they were all in the same condition then waxed and from what the results taught me is it REALLY is all in the prep work...all the waxes will look the same or so similar that the typical person cannot see any differences and yet some may last longer than others the only other thing I learned is that some bead/sheet water a LOT! faster than others but how long does that sheeting last on those that sheeted faster...do the slower sheeting ones sheet water over a longer time frame or through more washes?? IDK The main thing is what looks best in YOUR eyes on YOUR ride or the ride you`re working on, and if you like waxing your car and maintaining it then maybe it`s not so bad to use a wax that looks really good but does not last very long that way you can wax more often but if you dont like waxing and maintaining you might want to use the wax that lasts longer but doesnt look as good to you. I will try to find that thread...I think it`s by CaressDetailing??

I love detailing my xB2, however, I will not spend $274 on a can of wax. I am completely satisfied with my NXT TechWax 2.0 and Mothers SynWax (about $20 each).

Solaris was last listed on Zymol for $50,000!!! That is insane. There is no physical way you could see a difference worth that much!!!

It's sold out so I guess 25 suckers fell for it!

I dont see anything wrong having a good collection of quality waxes.
Here“s a collection of $4000 iin my livingroom

Detailing cars is a form of art. Most appreciate it, few possess the required skill and even fewer understand it.

I heard Zymol makes some outrageously expensive products so I just had to take a look and this is what I found. This is not joke, look it up yourself!

This little beauty costs more than some of the cars driven today but the manufacture refills it for free!!

For $30,000 here's what you get and no this isn't a typo!
