Yes you can use the S3BP with the G110 with the included adaptor set and use it with foam pads. And yes the S3BP does have velcro to attach foam pads as well as sanding discs.

Check out this thread from Mike Phillips. it shows the velcro and attaching it to 4" foam pads. In this thread it is shown on an air powered mini tool, but it can also be used with the G110 with the included adaptor set that i mentioned.

Yes, we use them all the time with our new 4" pads.

As a side note, if you're using our 7" Soft Buff 2.0 pads you really should be using our W68DA backing plate rather than a flat 5" backing plate. The W68DA fits perfectly into the recess on the back of the pad but, more importantly, it gives better support further out on the pad diameter which in turn will give you more even cut across the pad. It will also flex a bit, allowing you to more easily conform the pad to body contours and still get the proper level of pad support.

Backing plates are so often overlooked in the detailing process and thought of as nothing more than the velcro piece that attaches the pad to the machine. They are much more than that.

I would ditch the 7" pads for your DA and start slapping some 5.5" pads onto the 5" backing plate. You will find that you have a lot more corrective power.

A lot of logic (and truth) here.

5" plate with 7" pad = 2" of unused pad.

For that matter I have ordered 6" plate, 6.5" pads, 3" plate and 4" pads.

I'll experiment and let you know.

          Thanks for the help!

I have also ordered some 5.5" pads for my 5" plate.

          Cheers!
