    Thanks.
I agree, Firefox cant determine wether or not a site and its business/products are credible.

I made a slight change, but I am going to leave what is there. I think you guys are worrying about this a little much. It's just a casual conversation and the members are allowed to give those opinions.

Moderating this any further isn't necessary as there is no "misinformation," just users' opinions followed immediately by the opinions of others. I think that anyone reading this thread will clearly see that eShine is a reputable dealer.

If the owner of eShine still feels that he is being misrepresented here, he can certainly contact Mike Phillips or myself.

That's the way I read it.

Well, he's facing a lot of issues that US resellers don't face, like import duties, shipping cost and a lack of economies of scale + a Canadian dollar which generally hovers between 20-30 cents below the value of the greenback (except this past year when the loonie was valued at about 10 cents more in July I believe).

Guys, I am in no way offended by any of these threads. We run an online business and have to deal with issues like this all the time. We all know viruses are now a part of life and there is no site or company that is exempt from these type of attacks. When our site was hacked we were notified by customers right away! We had the site cleaned within hours and it took a few more hours to get Google to rescan the site and register it as safe. It was a quick recovery and we are now hiring a firm to try to hack our site and expose any weak security. This is the first time our site got entered since we started eShine. The malware was a html code directing users to adult sites and no personal info was gained of our customers. I appreciate the help from all members who contacted us.

All our prices are in Canadian dollars. Right now $1 USD is almost $1.25 Canadian.

                Chris,

What was your first account on this forum?

Noticed your posting under Eshine with 2 posts to your name; didn't you have a different account with more posts?

It's against forum rules to have two accounts. If you forget your forum name and/or password, then contact the Admin, (that's me), I can make any changes you like to your forum nickname and/or password.

Check out post #29 in this thread,

General Auto Detailing Discussion. Participate in existing discussion or start a new thread with your question.

                You're posting under eShine.ca

So lets get you down to just one account. E-mail me at mphillips@meguiars.com and let me know what you want your nickname and password to be for your original account and then I'll delete this new one.

Having 2 accounts is actually one of the things that can get a person banned from this forum or any credible forum.

I thought is was cleared so I made a new one. I got it all figured out now. Also, if a person is not logged in how can they contact admin? I can not send a PM or view your profile

If you can read any of the threads, my e-mail is in my Sig Line.

Also, at the bottom of every page is a text link that reads,

                      Contact Us

That goes directly to my inbox.

Thanks for clarifying. Will make the changes.

Ok I do not see much to clear up on post #2 but here it goes,

                          1. I never owned the 7424.
2.I do not know what it is for.
3.Some one else will chime in.
4.Did you buy it from that site?
                          5.It did not look credible.

                          1. He has never owned a 7424,

                          2. He does not know what it is for but it is to be used on some aftermarket backing plates that don’t make it possible to get the wrench in or out when the plate it tightened. The plate he bough was a lake Country and actually already has a fiber washer on it.

                          3. I just did

                          4. He bought it from us at the Ancaster Swap meet in person.

                          5. In business for 5 years, thousands of customers. This weekend someone hacked into the site and added scripts that send customers to adult site. It has happened to larger companies and until hackers get bored and decide to move on it will happen again. Unfortunately online companies just as anyone else have to deal with stuff like this.
