The transmission gave up the ghost in my daily driver over the weekend, forcing me to buy a new (to me, anyway) vehicle. I picked up this 2007 Dodge Charger:

The finish is in great shape and doesn't appear to need anything more than the attention of a clay-bar and some plain old polish. (No spiderwebs to try and buff out, so no DACP)
My concern, however, is the decals on the car. The pics don't show it very well, but there are two large black stripes on the hood, two small black "Charger" decals on the rear quarterpanels, and two more large black stripes on the trunk.
I've never had these sorts of decals on a car before and I'm unsure of the proper way to care for them. The last thing I want to do is damage them or cause them to start peeling off.
Is it safe to use a tool like the G100A on these decals? Are there any polish/cleaner/etc products that are unsafe for use on these decals? Is waxing them safe? Any tips for keeping them intact and looking good for the long haul?
