Let me first say that this forum has been great so far, and pushed me into purchasing a G110. I also bought the #83 Dual Action Cleaner/Polish and #9 Swirl Remover 2.0, alongside the 2.0 maroon foam cutting pad and the 2.0 yellow foam polishing pad. I did my parents 05 black dodge magnum with INCREDIBLE results, as the car appears to have no swirling or hazing even in direct sunlight. I understand paint thickness and hardness, but i did not want to push my limits. I used the hi-tech yellow wax #26 to finish the car with the yellow pad, and used the red pad with the #9 over the whole car. Somehow, the #83 worked better on the really whitish looking bumpers, so i did that with the red pad. The Magnum in Crystal Black Pearl is INCREDIBLE, i honestly could not believe the results.
Well, since the results were so good, I decided we would try to tackle a friends 99 Lexus GS, which is also Black, I believe black onyx to be exact. Keep in mind that the car has 147,xxx miles of daily, never garaged Florida life. Now, i was under the impression that the car has no clearcoat, but, there was apparently some little dings from roofing shingles that were repaired, and parts of the car were cleared. The pads would come off black in some areas, and not in others, however very mild when black. The same process was applied, but much of the swirling remains. A friend insisted we didn't work the products enough, so i tried that as well. The lighting made us think the car looked the same at first, and more impressive later, as we were fooled by angles and shading.
Under commercial parking lot lighting, flourescent typically, the hazing and swirling came back with a vengance. Now not only is the car shinier, but it really made the swirls and haze POP in the light. The car seems glossier, wetter, and really inky dark, but all the stuff we hated, is still there.
24 hours later, the hood and trunk, not specificially, but most visible due to the overhead lighting, showed a really whitish haze. I hand applied Klasse AIO, as it darkened the paint, and it looked much better. I have some pictures from the car, maybe someone can help? I just want him to enjoy the finish my parents do, I havent even gotten to do my own personal cars yet!
Also, my friend has an 03' S2000 he is getting ready to sell. I decided I would try to help him wring a couple bucks extra out of it, and try and help polish up his car. So, to err on the side of safety, we used the same proceedure, as i didnt want to do something that may take some time to reverse, like marring or scuffing that would require some experience to tackle. His car also has some minor paintwork, so the surfaces are inconsistent, at least in terms of the paint itself. No major body work again, just litte stuff, but the results were less dissapointing. The car still has a lot of little scratches and swirls, but it is silver and much less noticable. The final polishing of the paint seems to go well, as all the cars are super shiny, glossy, and offer plenty of depth. Im not trying to experiment with other peoples cars, however just trying to help. This also isnt a money issue, as i will recieve no payment for any of this, its just not satisfying to see a lack of progress, or no marked improvement.
Sorry for such a long winded first post, and thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer me. I have been reading for hours and hours and hours, and it seems as though some people have tackled similar problems as I with similar stuff. Again, I am sorry if this is misplaced, and any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
THANKS AGAIN!

here are the pictures i have, sorry, nightime and an iphone isnt the greatest combo
Here you can see the difference, half the hood was done with the klasse, made no improvements in swirls, however darker black, there is a line down the middle of the hood there as is faintly visible, and a circle where some more polish was tried. The rest is the whitish color i was talking about.

Here is just a general closer pic of the swirling.
